Fort Bragg Fisher House has supported military families at no cost since 1993. Our mission is to provide comfort and care to the families of service members who have been severely injured or are seriously ill. Fort Bragg Fisher House also supports the families of patients receiving medical care at Womack Army Medical Center outside of a 50 mile radius. If space allows, we accept patients and family members who live outside the area to stay with us the night before a surgery, scheduled procedure, or early morning appointment.
In 2018, Fort Bragg Fisher House provided a “home-away-from home” for 472 families totaling 3,281 nights of free lodging. The house has 11 suites with a private bath; play room, laundry room, large kitchen, family room, dining room and living room.
Families can enjoy free meals, drinks, snacks, wifi, cable tv., and phone service. The Fort Bragg Fisher House is owned, operated and maintained by the Department of the Army as a non-appropriated instrumentality, eligible to receive monetary donations.
